Unseen Warfare: Introduction

I will be releasing excerpts from this book I am reading entitled Unseen Warfare. A friend of mine, who left two months in the middle of the night to go to Arizona to become a Greek Orthodox monk, gave me this book. Not that we didn’t know he was leaving for the monastery, but no one knew when he was leaving, and he didn’t tell anyone he left. But, before he left, I could sense a difference in him, and my other close friends who knew him felt the same. There was an inner peace, and a Zen-like response to the world that wasn’t there before. Since I am an avid book reader, I’m always looking for new material, and one day I was over his house, looking through a large stack of books about saints, the lives of past monks, and other religious texts, and I asked him to give me a book to read. He looked through the stack and instantly picked this one out and handed it to me. Little did I know what I was in for.

I am releasing this in small portions, because it is mind-bending and provocative. As I said, it is a religious text but I have de-God-ed it for your secular reading pleasure. Don’t be close-minded because of its origins, take the amazing knowledge that it offers and be changed.
